Psalms 144:9-15 MWT    O   יהוה   my God, I will sing a new song to you. I will sing a psalm to you while playing my harp. (10) You are the one who gives victory to kings. You are the one who snatches your servant David away from a deadly sword. (11) Snatch me, and rescue me from foreigners' hands. Their mouths speak lies. Their right hands take false pledges. (12) May our sons grow like strong young plants. May our daughters be lovely like stately columns that adorn the corners of a palace. (13) May our barns be filled with all kinds of crops. May our sheep give birth to thousands of lambs, tens of thousands in our fields. (14) May our cattle have many calves. May no one break in, and may no one be dragged out. May there be no cries of distress in our streets. (15) Blessed are the people who have these blessings! Blessed are the people whose God is   יהוה!

Psalms 144:9-15 CEV In praise of you, ( יהוה )  our God, I will sing a new song, while playing my harp. (10) By your power, kings win wars, and your servant David is saved from deadly swords. (11) Won't you keep me safe from those lying foreigners who can't tell the truth? (12) Let's pray that our young sons will grow like strong plants and that our daughters will be as lovely as columns in the corner of a palace. (13) May our barns be filled with all kinds of crops. May our fields be covered with sheep by the thousands, (14) and every cow have calves. Don't let our city be captured or any of us be taken away, and don't let cries of sorrow be heard in our streets. (15) Our LORD ( יהוה ) and our God, you give these blessings to all who worship you.

(11) Save me from my cruel enemies; rescue me from the power of foreigners, who never tell the truth and lie even under oath. (12) May our sons in their youth be like plants that grow up strong. May our daughters be like stately columns which adorn the corners of a palace. (13) May our barns be filled with crops of every kind. May the sheep in our fields bear young by the tens of thousands. (14) May our cattle reproduce plentifully without miscarriage or loss. May there be no cries of distress in our streets. (15) Happy is the nation of whom this is true; happy are the people whose God is the LORD  ( יהוה )!

(11) Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners, whose mouths speak lies and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood. (12) May our sons in their youth be like plants full grown, our daughters like corner pillars cut for the structure of a palace; (13) may our granaries be full, providing all kinds of produce; may our sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields; (14) may our cattle be heavy with young, suffering no mishap or failure in bearing; may there be no cry of distress in our streets! (15) Blessed are the people to whom such blessings fall! Blessed are the people whose God is the LORD  ( יהוה )!
