From Bethlehem the LORD (יהוה) will raise a ruler whose origins are from of old, who will shepherd His flock in the strength of the LORD (יהוה).
Micah 5:2-4 NIV . . ."But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times." (3) Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor bears a son, and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites. (4) He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD (יהוה), in the majesty of the name of the LORD (יהוה) his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.

(4) And he shall stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD (יהוה), in the majesty of the name of the LORD (יהוה) his God. And they shall dwell secure, for now he shall be great to the ends of the earth.
Micah 5:2-4 GNB . . .The LORD (יהוה) says, "Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are one of the smallest towns in Judah, but out of you I will bring a ruler for Israel, whose family line goes back to ancient times." (3) So the LORD (יהוה) will abandon his people to their enemies until the woman who is to give birth has her son. Then those Israelites who are in exile will be reunited with their own people. (4) When he comes, he will rule his people with the strength that comes from the LORD (יהוה) and with the majesty of the LORD (יהוה) God himself. His people will live in safety because people all over the earth will acknowledge his greatness,
Micah 5:2-4 CEV . . .Bethlehem Ephrath, you are one of the smallest towns in the nation of Judah. But the LORD (יהוה) will choose one of your people to rule the nation— someone whose family goes back to ancient times. (3) The LORD (יהוה) will abandon Israel only until the woman who is pregnant gives birth. Then the rest of his people will return to the land of Israel. (4) Like a shepherd taking care of his sheep, this ruler will lead and care for his people by the power and glorious name of the LORD (יהוה) his God. His people will live securely, and the whole earth will know his true greatness,
