Job 22:21-30 GNB ...Now, Job, make peace with God () and stop treating him like an enemy (refusing to humbly obey); if you do,then he will bless you. (22) Accept the teaching he gives; (delivered us in the words of his Christ - Mat 17:5) keep his words in your heart. (23) Yes, you must humbly return to God and put an end to all the evil that is done in your house. (24) Throw away your gold; dump your finest gold in the dry stream bed. (25) Let Almighty God be your gold, and let him be silver, piled high for you. (26) Then you will always trust in God and find that he is the source of your joy. (27) When you pray, he will answer you, and you will keep the vows you made. (28) You will succeed in all you do, and light will shine on your path. (29) God brings down the proud and saves the humble. (30) He will rescue you if you are innocent, if what you do is right.Job 22:21-30 BBE ...Put yourself now in a right relation with him () and be at peace: so will you do well in your undertakings. (22) Be pleased to take teaching from his mouth, and let his words be stored up in your heart. (Mat 17:5) (23) If you come back to the Ruler of all, making yourself low before him; if you put evil far away from your tents; (24) And put your gold in the dust, even your gold of Ophir among the rocks of the valleys; (25) Then the Ruler of all will be your gold, and his teaching will be your silver; (26) For then you will have delight in the Ruler of all, and your face will be lifted up to God. (27) You will make your prayer to him, and be answered; and you will give effect to your oaths. (28) Your purposes will come about, and light will be shining on your ways. (29) For God makes low those whose hearts are lifted up, but he is a saviour to the poor in spirit. (30) He makes safe the man who is free from sin, and if your hands are clean, salvation will be yours.Job 22:21-30 GW ..."Be in harmony and at peace with God (). In this way you will have prosperity. (22) Accept instruction from his mouth, and keep his words in your heart. (Mat 17:5) (23) If you return to the Almighty, you will prosper. If you put wrongdoing out of your tent, (24) and lay your gold down in the dust, and put your gold from Ophir among the pebbles in the rivers, (25) then the Almighty will become your gold and your large supply of silver. (26) Then you will be happy with the Almighty and look up toward God. (27) You will pray to him, and he will listen to you, and you will keep your vow to him. (28) When you promise to do something, you will succeed, and light will shine on your path. (29) When others are discouraged, you will say, 'Cheer up!' Then he will save the humble person. (30) He will rescue one who is not innocent. That person will be rescued by your purity."
Job 22:21-30 NWT ... 21 Acquaint yourself, please, with him (Almighty God ), and keep peace; Thereby good things will come to you. 22 Take, please, the law from his own mouth, And put his sayings in your heart. (Mat 17:5) 23 If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; [If] you will keep unrighteousness far from your tent, 24 And [if] there is a placing of precious ore in the dust And gold of O´phir in the rock of torrent valleys, 25 The Almighty also will indeed become your precious ores, And silver, the choicest, to you. 26 For then in the Almighty you will find your exquisite delight, And you will raise your face to God himself. 27 You will make entreaty to him, and he will hear you; And your vows you will pay. 28 And you will decide on something, and it will stand for you; And upon your ways light will certainly shine. 29 For there must be a humiliation when you speak arrogantly; But one with downcast eyes he will save. 30 He will rescue an innocent man, And you will certainly be rescued for the cleanness of your hands.”

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
