Isaiah 41:20-24 MWT . . .People will see and know. Together they will consider and understand that יהוה's power has done all this: The Holy One of Israel has created it. (Gal 3:28-29) (21) "Present your case," says יהוה. "Bring forward your best arguments," says Jacob's king. (22) "Bring your idols so they can tell us what's going to happen. Explain past events that your idols told you about so that we may consider them and know what their outcome will be. Tell us about future events. (23) Tell us what's going to happen so that we may know that you are gods. Yes, do something, good or evil, to intimidate us and make us afraid. (24) You are nothing! You can't do anything! Whoever chooses to worship you is disgusting. (Mal 3:16-4:3)

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
