In the following verses, while not referring to it by name, Ezekiel prophesies about Armageddon: About God's war bringing an end of the pain and suffering which is part and parcel of the wicked system we are now living in. Do not be confused because Ezekiel is speaking about the salvation of Israel. Remember, these scriptures reference the "final days," and thus Ezekiel is talking about spiritual Israel; not fleshly Israel. All those who love Christ are adopted as sons and daughters of Abraham (the father of all who are Israel - 1_Chron_1:34). (Gal_3:26-29 ; Rom_3:19-30) Jesus said fleshly Israel had their house abandoned to them, until they individually express faith in Jesus as the son of God; just like we all must do. (Mat_23:38-39 ; Luke_13:35) This salvation of the last days will thus be for all who love and express faith in Christ Jesus. (Acts 10:34-35)

Ezekiel 38:8-39:10 CEV
(8) because in a few years, I will command you (influence you) to invade Israel, a country that was ruined by war. It was deserted for a long time, but its people have returned from the foreign nations where they once lived. The Israelites (those with faith in Christ - Gal_3:26-29) now live in peace in the mountains of their own land. (9) But you and your army will attack them like a fierce thunderstorm and surround them like a cloud. (10) When that day comes, I know that you will have an evil plan (11) to take advantage of Israel, that weak and peaceful country where people live safely inside towns that have no walls or gates or locks. (12) You will rob the people in towns that were once a pile of rubble. These people lived as prisoners in foreign nations, but they have returned to Israel, the most important place in the world, and they own livestock and property. (13) The people of Sheba and Dedan, along with merchants from villages in southern Spain, will be your allies. They will want some of the silver and gold, as well as the livestock and property that your army takes from Israel. (14) I, the LORD  ( יהוה ) God, know that when you see my people Israel living in peace, (15) you will lead your powerful cavalry from your kingdom in the north. (16) You will attack my people like a storm-cloud that covers their land. I will let you invade my country Israel, so that every nation on earth will know that I, the LORD  ( יהוה ), am holy. (17) The LORD said to Gog: Long ago, I had my prophets warn the people of Israel that someday I would send an enemy to attack them. You, Gog, are that enemy, and that day is coming. (18) When you invade Israel, I will become furious, (19) and in my anger I will send a terrible earthquake to shake Israel. (20) Every living thing on earth will tremble in fear of me--every fish and bird, every wild animal and reptile, and every human. Mountains will crumble, cliffs will fall, and cities will collapse. (21) I, the LORD, will make the mountains of Israel turn against you. Your troops will be so terrified that they will attack each other. (22) I will strike you with diseases and punish you with death. You and your army will be pounded with rainstorms, hailstones, and burning sulfur. (23) I will do these things to show the world that I, the LORD, am holy.
Ezekiel 39:1-10 CEV
(1) Ezekiel, son of man, condemn Gog and tell him: You are the ruler of Meshech and Tubal, but I, the LORD, am your enemy! (2) I will turn you around and drag you from the north until you reach the mountains of Israel. (3) I will knock the bow out of your left hand and the arrows out of your right hand, (4) and you and your army will die on those mountains. Then birds and wild animals will eat the flesh (5) of your dead bodies left lying in open fields. I, the LORD, have spoken. (6) I will set fire to the land of Magog and to those nations along the seacoast that think they are so secure, and they will know that I am the LORD  ( יהוה ). (7) My people Israel will know me, and they will no longer disgrace my holy name. Everyone on earth will know that I am the holy LORD God of Israel. (8) The day is coming when these things will happen, just as I have promised. (9) When that day comes, the people in the towns of Israel will collect the weapons of their dead enemies. They will use these shields, bows and arrows, spears, and clubs as firewood, and there will be enough to last for seven years. (10) They will burn these weapons instead of gathering sticks or chopping down trees. That's how the Israelites will take revenge on those who robbed and abused them. I, the LORD  ( יהוה ), have spoken.

Ezekiel 38:8-39:10 LITV
(8) After many days you shall be visited. In the after years you shall come into the land turned back from the sword, gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel which have been for a continual waste. But he has been brought out of the peoples, and they shall dwell securely, all of them. (those with faith in Christ - Gal_3:26-29) (9) And you shall go up, you shall come like a storm; you shall be like a cloud to cover the land, you and all your bands, and many peoples with you. (10) So says the Lord Jehovah: And it shall be in that day, words shall come up into your heart, and you shall devise an evil plan. (11) And you shall say, I will go up to the land of open spaces. I will go to those at ease, who live securely, all of them living with no walls, and there are no bars and gates to them, (12) in order to plunder a plunder, and to steal a prize, to turn your hand on the inhabited waste places, and on the people gathered out of the nations, producing livestock and goods, who dwell in the center of the earth. (13) Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish, and all its young lions, shall say to you, Have you come to plunder a plunder? Have you gathered your assembly to steal a prize, to lift up silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to plunder a great plunder? (14) So prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, So says the Lord Jehovah: Shall you not know in that day when My people Israel dwells securely? (15) And you shall come from your place out of the recesses of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly, a mighty army. (16) And you shall come up on My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It shall be in the after days, and I will bring you against My land so that the nations may know Me, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes, Gog. (17) So says the Lord Jehovah: Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by the hand of My servants, the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days and years, to bring you against them? (18) And it shall be on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel, declares the Lord Jehovah, My fury shall come up in My face. (19) And in My jealousy, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken. Surely, in that day there shall be a great quaking in the land of Israel. (20) And the fish of the sea, and the birds of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men on the face of the earth, shall quake at My face. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. (21) And I shall call a sword against him on all My mountains, declares the Lord Jehovah. Each man's sword shall be against his brother. (22) And I will judge him with a plague and with blood, and an overflowing shower, and hailstones. I will rain fire and brimstone on him, and on his bands, and on the many peoples who are with him. (23) And I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself. And I will be known in the eyes of the many nations, and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
Ezekiel 39:1-10 LITV
(1) And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. (2) And I will turn you back and lead you on. And I will bring you up from the recesses of the north, and will bring you on the mountains of Israel. (3) And I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and I will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand. (4) You shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your bands, and the people with you. I will give you for food to the birds of prey, a bird of every wing, and to the beasts of the field. (5) You shall fall on the face of the field, for I have spoken, declares the Lord Jehovah. (6) And I will send a fire on Magog, and on those living securely on the coasts. And they shall know that I am Jehovah. (7) And I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel. And I will not let My holy name be profaned any more. And the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel. (8) Behold! It has come, and it has happened, declares the Lord Jehovah. That is the day of which I have spoken. (9) And those living in the cities of Israel shall go out and shall set afire and burn the weapons, even the shield and the buckler, the bow and the arrows, and the hand staff, and the spears. And they shall burn them with fire seven years. (10) And they shall not take wood out of the field and shall not cut down out of the forest. For they shall burn the weapons with fire. And they shall plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them, declares the Lord Jehovah.

Ezekiel 38:8-39:10 NWT
8 "'"After many days you will be given attention. In the final part of the years you will come to the land [of people] brought back from the sword, collected together out of many peoples, onto the mountains of Israel, that have proved to be a constantly devastated place; even [a land] that has been brought forth from the peoples, [where] they have dwelt in security, all of them. (those with faith in Christ - Gal_3:26-29) 9 And you will be bound to come up. Like a storm you will come in. Like clouds to cover the land you will become, you and all your bands and many peoples with you."' 10 "This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, 'And it must occur in that day that things will come up into your heart, and you will certainly think up an injurious scheme; 11 and you must say: "I shall go up against the land of open rural country. I shall come in upon those having no disturbance, dwelling in security, all of them dwelling without wall, and they do not have even bar and doors." 12 It will be to get a big spoil and to do much plundering, in order to turn your hand back upon devastated places reinhabited and upon a people gathered together out of the nations, [one] that is accumulating wealth and property, [those] who are dwelling in the center of the earth. 13 "'Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its maned young lions-they will say to you: "Is it to get a big spoil that you are coming in? Is it to do much plundering that you have congregated your congregation, in order to carry off silver and gold, to take wealth and property, to get a very great spoil?"' 14 "Therefore prophesy, O son of man, and you must say to Gog, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said: "Will it not be in that day when my people Israel are dwelling in security that you will know [it]? 15 And you will certainly come from your place, from the remotest parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great congregation, even a numerous military force. 16 And you will be bound to come up against my people Israel, like clouds to cover the land. In the final part of the days it will occur, and I shall certainly bring you against my land, for the purpose that the nations may know me when I sanctify myself in you before their eyes, O Gog."' 17 "This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, 'Are you the same one of whom I spoke in the former days by the hand of my servants the prophets of Israel, who were prophesying in those days-years-as to bringing you in upon them?' 18 "'And it must occur in that day, in the day when Gog comes in upon the soil of Israel,' is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, 'that my rage will come up into my nose. 19 And in my ardor, in the fire of my fury, I shall have to speak. Surely in that day a great quaking will occur in the soil of Israel. 20 And because of me the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the wild beasts of the field and all the creeping things that are creeping on the ground and all mankind that are upon the surface of the ground will be bound to shiver, and the mountains will actually be thrown down and the steep ways will have to fall, and to the earth even every wall will fall.' 21 "'And I will call forth against him throughout all my mountainous region a sword,' is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. 'Against his own brother the sword of each one will come to be. 22 And I will bring myself into judgment with him, with pestilence and with blood; and a flooding downpour and hailstones, fire and sulphur I shall rain down upon him and upon his bands and upon the many peoples that will be with him. 23 And I shall certainly magnify myself and sanctify myself and make myself known before the eyes of many nations; and they will have to know that I am Jehovah.'
Chap 39 "And as regards you, O son of man, prophesy against Gog, and you must say, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said: "Here I am against you, O Gog, you head chieftain of Meshech and Tubal. 2 And I will turn you around and lead you on and cause you to come up from the remotest parts of the north and bring you in upon the mountains of Israel. 3 And I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and your arrows I shall cause to fall out of your own right hand. 4 On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your bands and the peoples that will be with you. To birds of prey, birds of every sort of wing, and the wild beasts of the field I will give you for food."' 5 "'Upon the surface of the field you will fall, for I myself have spoken,' is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. 6 "'And I will send fire upon Magog and upon those who are inhabiting the islands in security; and people will have to know that I am Jehovah. 7 And my holy name I shall make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I shall no more let my holy name be profaned; and the nations will have to know that I am Jehovah, the Holy One in Israel.' 8 "'Look! It must come and it must be brought to be,' is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. 'This is the day of which I have spoken. 9 And the inhabitants of the cities of Israel will certainly go forth and burn and build fires with the armor and bucklers and large shields,-with the bows and with the arrows and with the handstaves and with the lances; and with them they will have to light fires seven years. 10 And they will not carry sticks of wood from the field, nor will they gather firewood out of the forests, for with the armor they will light fires.' "'And they will certainly make spoil of those who had been making spoil of them, and plunder those who had been plundering them,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
